Sue Fry
Workforce Development Manager,
East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust
Sue is currently the Workforce Development Manager at East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS). She is the Trust lead for all apprenticeship programmes since the Reform in 2017. In 2023 Nottingham Trent University (NTU) submitted a nomination for the Trust to be awarded the NTU Large Enterprise Apprenticeship Employer of the Year; this was awarded to EMAS. Sue leads on several Human Resource and Organisational Development projects, including the Health and Wellbeing, and the Culture Projects. She is responsible for supporting colleagues in a variety of educational programmes, helping those who may have a neurodiverse condition to develop their skills to aid in progressing their career. Sue holds a master's in human resource management, and previously led on the delivery of a variety of Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Leadership programmes within the NHS. Sue commenced her career with the NHS in January 1987.
