Rob is Wildfire Advisor to the Forestry Commission and has attended over 10 large wildfire incidents in the South of England since 1999, undertaking training and operational responses globally. He is a founding member of the England and Wales Wildfire Forum and joint coordinator of the UK Wildfire Research Group. He delivers the Forestry Commission's Lantra accredited Vegetation Fire training in the UK, Republic of Ireland and UK Overseas Territories .
