Karen has worked in the Children & Young People arena for 16 years and in her previous role provided strategic direction for the volunteering programme, working alongside Lee to help the Service achieve its Investors in Volunteers Accreditation. Having been a volunteer youth worker herself for many years, Karen is passionate about the impact volunteers have in changing the lives of vulnerable people in communities.
