Jo Taylor is the Policing Standards Manager for Investigation and Forensics at The College of Policing. This includes developing evidence-based standards for professional practice, learning programmes and advice in specific topic areas. Currently it includes working with internal and external colleagues to maintain the Professionalising Investigation Programme (PIP) with a focus on core skills, and improving investigations, as well as reviewing areas of APP, such as Hate crime, CCTV, knife crime and fraud. She was instrumental in the early development of the Authorised Professional Practice website and implementing and improving the PIP programme following the 2014 PIP review . Jo is also a qualified solicitor.
