Alexis has 25 plus years of national and international environmental consultancy experience and became the first Sustainability Manager for an ambulance Service in 2019, focusing on reducing the carbon footprint of the blue light ambulance service. She is currently facilitating the Net Zero programme and developed the low to zero emission and EV charging infrastructure for the ambulance service, as well as working to prepare the ambulance service for climate adaptation, assessing the impact of flooding, heat waves and sea inundation. Alexis set up GrEAN in 2010, to connect all the sustainability leads across the ambulance services of the UK to deliver the ambitions of the net zero agenda.
