Care of Police Survivors (COPS) is a charity that supports the families of police officers and staff who have lost their lives on duty. Founded in 2003, the charity provides peer support opportunities and access to counselling services to help surviving family members (‘survivors’) rebuild their shattered lives, ensuring that they remain part of the police family.
