Tough Talk, raising awareness about male suicide

19 Sep 2024
People & Skills Stage | Hall 5
People & Skills Stage
Suicide is a tough topic to talk about and in this session we are joined by Steve Whittle, founder of charity Tough to Talk. He will provide a frank, open and, at times, hard to hear insight into why men reach breaking point, drawing on his own experiences. Together with Chief Inspector Stewart Codling, Chair of Thames Valley Police Men's Forum, they will focus on what the emergency services can do to support men's mental health and wellbeing.
