A look at the maturity of body worn video and how policing can do so much more with the data it provides

18 Sep 2024
Policing Stage | Hall 4
Policing Stage
In this College of Policing led session, we will be looking at body worn video as the ‘original digital forensics exhibit’ and how the mass of data it records can be analysed and used in different ways. Our panel will ask how much the world of AI can assist forces in finding a 'needle in a haystack' for criminal investigation, as well as how it can provide valuable insights into the welfare of officers to predict the need for early interventions.
Speakers
Tarrick Patrick, Stop Search and Body Worn Video Subject Matter Expert - College of Policing
Leanne Moorhouse, Body Worn Video Specialist & Police Staff Officer - Devon and Cornwall police
Damian Tambirasa, CTO Home Office & Police - IBM Technology
