Apprenticeships are nothing new to the emergency services, and rightly the focus is on the time spent on the scheme and the successful completion of a rigorous end point assessment. Here, we ask two experts from across the blue lights to share their insights into what happens next, how organisation benefit from the apprentice experience and why this is just the start of a life long commitment to learning for all involved.
